In an amazing show of teamwork and skill, the AACS JV volleyball team defeated Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes in four sets on Wednesday 11/6.

The Eagles started out strong, winning the first two sets with scores of 25-14 and 25-15, respectively. 

Stumbling momentarily in the third set, the Eagles lost by a score of 25-12, but quickly recovered to win the 4th set, ending the match with a kill by Anna Lemmerhirt and a set score of 25-17. 

Highlights from the game include 5 aces from Anna Lemmerhirt and 7 kills from Lydia Sit. 

The Eagles will compete in the district final match against Everest Collegiate Academy (#2 in MHSAA Division 4 volleyball rankings) at 7 pm on Thursday 11/7.
