On Friday (9/20), the AACS JV Volleyball team traveled to WCA for the Wildcat Invitational Tournament. The Eagles went 1-2 on the evening, making their overall record 5-8. 

The Eagles' first match was against the JAHE Jaguars, a homeschool group from Jacoson. The Eagles lost in two sets, with scores of 25-11 and 25-21. 

AACS then moved on to play the Novi Firebirds, another homeschool group, again losing in two with scores of 25-16 and 25-19. 

The Eagles then squared off against Bloomfield Christian, winning in two sets, with scores of 25-11 and 25-18. 

Highlights of the tournament include Lydia Sit leading the team with 13 kills, along with 7 Aces, and Karis Janssen leading the team with 5 blocks. 

The Eagles will compete in their next match at home versus Christ the King on Tuesday, 9/24 at 6:15 pm.
