The AACS Eagles' JV volleyball team competed in the Lincoln JV Invitational on Saturday, 10/5. 

With the first two pool play matches, the Eagles lost to Salem (25-18 and 25-8 set scores) and a close game to Lincoln (25-22 and 25-23). 

The Eagles then moved on to bracket play, which was single elimination. They faced off against Lincoln Park, winning in two straight sets by scores of 25-13 and 25-16, respectively. 

The win set up a rematch against Salem, now seeded #1, with the Eagles losing in two sets by scores of 25-13 and 25-18. The loss ended their run in the tournament. 

Highlights from the tournament include 15 kills and 9 aces by Lydia Sit. 

The Eagles will compete against WCA JV Volleyball on Tuesday, 10/8 at 6:30pm.
