On Tuesday 10/29, the AACS JV volleyball team faced off against three varsity teams in the Hope Christian Quad, with two wins and one loss for the night. 

Their first game was against Hope Christian Academy, which the Eagles won in two straight sets, mowing down the Hawks’ defense with scores of 25-12 and 25-8. 

In the Eagles' second game, they faced off against Huda School, sweeping the Heat in two straight sets as well. The set scores were 25-18 and 25-6, respectively. 

AACS then played Canton Prep, a class B school. The Eagles lost the first set with a score of 25-16, and came back and lost a heart breaking set with a score of 25-23. 

Highlights from the quad included 12 aces from Lydia Sit and 9 kills from Anna Lemmerhirt. 

The Eagles ended their regular season with a record of 14-16. They will begin competition in districts against Pontiac Academy on Monday, 11/4 at Everest Collegiate High School. The game will begin at 7pm.
