Eagles Advance in District Play

On Monday 11/4, the AACS JV volleyball team competed in the MHSAA division lV district tournament for the first time in school history, traveling to Everest Collegiate High School in Clarkston, the site of the district tournament.
AACS began district play against Pontiac Academy of Excellence, sweeping the opposing Eagles in three sets, with scores of 25-3, 25-3, and 25-7, respectively.
Highlights from the game include 10 aces from Lydia Sit and 4 kills from Olivia Skrycki.
The Eagles move on to the district semifinals against Waterford Our Lady Of The Lakes, on Wednesday, 11/6 at 7pm.
